Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect when you book, what we use it for, and your rights over it. We follow Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27/2022).

What we collect

• Your name and WhatsApp number provided at booking.
• Email, if you send it to us.
• Booking details: date, time, safe spot, destination, and chosen companion.
• Conversation history related to the booking.

How we use it

• To confirm and run your booking.
• To contact you about schedules and changes.
• To keep both parties safe during the session.
• To handle cancellations and refunds.

What is shared

The companion receives only what is needed: your first name, the schedule, and the safe spot. Your WhatsApp number is passed on only after the deposit is confirmed. We never sell or rent your data.

Retention

Booking data is kept as long as needed for administration and dispute resolution. Companion identity documents are internal and never published.

Your rights

You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]. We reply within 7 working days.

Third parties

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and map tiles from a tile provider (Esri/OpenStreetMap); those providers may receive your IP address when the page loads. WhatsApp links take you to a WhatsApp/Meta service with its own privacy policy.

Terms & Conditions

Service

Bandung Platonic provides walking and talking companions on a 100% platonic basis: accompanying public activities such as coffee, food, museums, and city walks. We are not a sexual service, not a licensed tour guide, and not a security escort.

Users

The service is for users aged 18 and over.

Price & payment

• Rp85,000 per hour, 2-hour minimum.
• A 50% deposit is paid at confirmation via QRIS; the rest is paid at the meetup.
• Extra costs (entrance tickets, travel outside the city) are confirmed before payment.

Meetups

Meetups happen only at agreed public places: cafes, museums, parks, or the city centre. The companion may decline any location that conflicts with these terms.

Prohibited

• Sexual requests or anything leading to them.
• Inviting the companion to a hotel room, private home, or other closed space.
• Violence, threats, or recording without consent.
• Excessive alcohol or illegal substances.

Violations end the session with no refund and permanent account suspension. Criminal matters are reported to the authorities.

Limitation of liability

Companions are not medical, legal, or other professionals. You are responsible for your personal belongings. Our liability is limited to the value of the session booked.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Cancellation & Refunds

• Companion does not show up or cancels: 100% of the deposit is refunded within 24 hours.
• Client cancels more than 12 hours before: 100% refund or move to another schedule.
• Client cancels less than 12 hours before: the deposit is forfeited as compensation for the companion's time and travel.
• Rescheduling: once, free of charge, requested at least 12 hours ahead.
• Force majeure (extreme weather, disaster, access closure): the session is rescheduled or the deposit refunded.
• How to request: message the official WhatsApp number with the date and companion name.

Refunds are sent to the same account or QRIS used for the original payment.
